Apple has officially set the closure date for its Partridge Creek retail store in Clinton Township, Michigan. The store, located just outside Detroit, will permanently close its doors on Saturday, August 16, at 8 p.m. local time, marking the end of its operations after opening in 2007.

All employees currently working at the Partridge Creek location will be offered the opportunity to continue their roles within Apple, ensuring a smooth transition. A notice has been added to the store’s webpage, directing customers to apple.com/retail to locate their nearest Apple store, with Apple Somerset becoming the closest option for customers north of Detroit.

This closure coincides with Apple’s plans to open an all-new store in Downtown Detroit on Woodward Avenue later this year, indicating a strategic evolution of its retail footprint in the greater Detroit area.
