Nashua Country Club Shooting: Suspect Charged, Arraignment Expected Monday

One person is dead and two others were wounded following a shooting incident Saturday night at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire. Authorities have arrested 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau, charging him with one count of second-degree murder. Nadeau is expected to be arraigned at the Ninth Circuit Court in Nashua tomorrow, Monday, September 22nd.
The victim has been identified as 59-year-old Robert Steven DeCesare. The incident, which occurred around 8 p.m. ET, prompted a swift response from law enforcement. New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella and Nashua Police Chief Kevin Rourke confirmed the fatality and injuries, noting that additional charges for the other shooting victims are likely.
Police initially reported multiple suspects but later confirmed, after reviewing surveillance footage, that there was only one shooter, who is now in custody. Nashua police assured the public that there is no further danger. The investigation remains active.
Witnesses at a wedding reception inside the country club described the chaos, with one person reportedly hitting the shooter with a chair before the suspect fled through the reception area. Sky Meadow Country Club, a private facility approximately 45 miles northwest of Boston, is cooperating with authorities. No known connection between the suspect and the victims has been established.
