Hunter Biden Alleges Ambien Behind Former President Biden’s Disastrous 2024 Debate Performance in New Interview

In an explosive interview released Monday on YouTube’s “Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan,” Hunter Biden claimed a sleeping pill, Ambien, was responsible for then-President Joe Biden’s widely criticized debate performance against Donald Trump last year. The interview coincides with the first anniversary of the elder Biden’s decision to withdraw from the presidential race.

Hunter Biden, detailing his father’s demanding travel schedule, stated, “He flew around the world, basically mileage that he could have flown around the world three times, he’s 81 years old, he’s tired as s—, they give him Ambien to be able to sleep, he’s gets up on the stage and he looks like he’s a deer in the headlights.” The former president’s office has not commented on these new allegations. Previously, Joe Biden had attributed his poor performance to exhaustion, quipping that he “almost fell asleep onstage,” but made no mention of a sleeping aid.

The interview also saw Hunter Biden lash out at prominent Democrats, including actor George Clooney, who called for his father to step down after the debate. “F— him and f— everyone around him,” Biden remarked. Furthermore, he vehemently denied responsibility for the bag of cocaine discovered in the West Wing in 2023, a probe that Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino announced was reopened in May. Hunter Biden, who has been open about his past struggles with addiction, asserted, “I have been clean and sober since June of 2019, and I have not touched a drop of alcohol or a drug and I’m incredibly, incredibly proud of that.”
