Lenovo Legion Go 2 Confirmed to Integrate Xbox Full-Screen Experience by Spring 2026

Lenovo’s upcoming Legion Go 2 handheld gaming PC is set to receive Microsoft’s new Xbox full-screen experience (FSE) by spring 2026. This makes the Legion Go 2 one of the first non-Asus devices confirmed to get this dedicated gaming interface.
While the Legion Go 2 is expected to launch next month, users will have the option to manually switch to the Xbox FSE once it becomes available in the spring 2026 timeframe. In contrast, Asus will be the first to implement the Xbox FSE, with its co-launch of the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X with Microsoft on October 16th. Following this, Microsoft plans to bring the FSE to existing Asus ROG Ally and Ally X models.
Hopes are high that this streamlined version of Windows will significantly boost performance, mirroring the gains seen with SteamOS on similar hardware, and enable smarter wake and sleep functionalities. Early observations suggest the Xbox FSE can reduce memory usage and offers a more intuitive gamepad navigation, though Microsoft has only provided limited previews thus far.
