Authorities in Westbury, New York, have launched an investigation following the tragic death of a 61-year-old man who was fatally pulled into a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine earlier this week. According to the Nassau County Police Department, the metal chain caused the individual to be forcefully drawn into the powerful magnetic field of the MRI unit, resulting in a severe medical episode. He succumbed to his injuries the following day. As of Saturday, Nassau Open MRI had not responded to requests for comment regarding the incident.
