Suspect Arrested in Tragic Double Homicide of American Idol’s Robin Kaye and Husband Thomas Deluca
Los Angeles police have announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with the tragic double homicide of former American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca. Raymond Boodarian, 22, of Encino, has been apprehended following the discovery of the couple’s bodies in their Encino home earlier this week.
Kaye and Deluca, both 70, were found shot to death on Monday when West Valley Division officers conducted a welfare check after a concerned individual reported not hearing from the residents for several days. Investigators believe Boodarian gained entry into the residence through an unlocked door on July 10, 2025. A confrontation ensued when the victims returned home, leading to the fatal shooting.
The LAPD’s homicide investigation has involved extensive interviews with friends and family, review of surveillance footage, and evidence recovery at the scene.
