A high-ranking Ukrainian intelligence officer was shot dead in broad daylight in Kyiv today, officials confirmed. The incident, which occurred in a car park, saw the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) agent approached by an unidentified assailant who then fled the scene. While the SBU has not officially identified the victim, Ukrainian media outlets have named him as Colonel Ivan Voronych. Kyiv police stated that officers found a man’s body with a gunshot wound and are actively working to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
