US Military Massing Air Power in Europe Amid Iran-Israel War: A Show of Force?

As tensions escalate between Iran and Israel, the United States is significantly bolstering its military presence in the region, raising questions about potential US involvement.

Multiple US officials, speaking anonymously, confirmed to Reuters the deployment of a large number of refueling aircraft to Europe. These aircraft, primarily KC-135s and KC-46s, are positioned to support potential operations in the Middle East. Flight tracking data from AirNav systems corroborates this, showing over 31 US Air Force tankers moving eastward and landing at bases in Germany, the UK, Estonia, and Greece.
