Seattle authorities are actively searching for a group of thieves responsible for a stunning $2 million jewelry heist that occurred in West Seattle just three days ago. The audacious robbery, which saw masked suspects make off with high-value items including Rolex watches and a $125,000 emerald necklace, unfolded in a mere 90 seconds.

The incident took place around noon on August 14 at Menashe and Sons Jeweler. Four masked individuals, armed with hammers, a Taser, and bear spray, reportedly smashed through the front glass door and quickly destroyed six display cases. Police confirmed weapons were pointed at store employees during the rapid-fire robbery, though no injuries were reported.

Surveillance footage captured the swift operation, which left the family-owned business in disarray. Bret Gibson, an employee at a nearby gym, described hearing the commotion: “You could still hear like a lot of breaking glass and banging around and stuff, so they were in there around noon still robbing the store while everyone was on the phone calling the cops.”

After the lightning-fast theft, the suspects fled in a getaway car, and a subsequent search of the area by the Seattle Police Department yielded no immediate results. Josh Menashe, the vice president of the store, expressed the staff’s shock, stating the business would be closed for a period while inventory of the stolen goods is completed. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the robbery to contact the Seattle Police Department’s Violent Crimes Tip Line.
