Hulk Hogan’s Son Nick Shares Heartfelt Tribute Following Wrestling Icon’s Passing

In a deeply emotional outpouring, Nick Bollea, son of legendary wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, has penned a poignant tribute to his father, whom he affectionately called his ‘hero’ and ‘best friend,’ following Hogan’s recent passing. Nick Hogan, whose legal name is Bollea, shared his grief and gratitude in an Instagram post featuring a collection of 20 cherished photographs spanning decades of memories with his father. “This has been overwhelming and extremely difficult,” he wrote. “Hearing so many kind words and stories about my dad’s life, interactions and experiences with everyone has been incredible and comforting. My dad was the most incredible person I’ve ever known and will always be my hero.”

Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, died at the age of 71 after what Clearwater, Florida police described as a “serious medical issue.” A 911 call was reportedly placed Thursday morning for cardiac arrest. Reports indicate Hogan had been managing health issues in the weeks leading up to his death.

Reflecting on their recent years, Nick added, “I spent a lot of time with him the past few years after moving back to Florida to be closer to him and I am so grateful for those memories. They are the best moments in my life. I would do anything to have him back but I know now that he will always be watching over me. I will always remember the lessons and advice he gave me and carry on in a way that I know would make him proud.”

He concluded his heartfelt message: “Thank you for being the best dad in the world and thank you for being my best friend. I love you so much Big Dog and I will miss you forever.”

Hulk Hogan and his ex-wife, Linda, shared two children, Nick and daughter Brooke. The family famously starred in the VH1 reality series “Hogan Knows Best” from 2005 to 2007.
