Apple Revolutionizes Device Protection with New AppleCare One Subscription

Apple has officially launched AppleCare One, a groundbreaking new monthly subscription service priced at $19.99, designed to streamline device protection for its users. Available starting today, July 24, 2025, in the United States, this new plan covers up to three Apple products, with options to add more devices for an additional $5.99 each per month.

This initiative marks a significant shift from the previous model requiring separate AppleCare+ plans for individual devices. AppleCare One bundles comprehensive coverage, including unlimited repairs for accidental damage like drops and spills, 24/7 expert support, and battery service. For the first time, it also extends theft and loss protection beyond iPhones to include iPads and Apple Watches.

In a notable policy change, Apple is now allowing customers to add AppleCare coverage to products they already own. Devices up to four years old, provided they are in good condition and pass a diagnostic check, can be enrolled in the AppleCare One plan. The company highlights potential savings, noting that customers can save up to $11 monthly compared to purchasing separate AppleCare+ plans for multiple devices.

Enrollment for AppleCare One is available directly via iPhone, iPad, Mac, or at an Apple Store. While AppleCare One offers a consolidated solution, customers seeking protection for a single device can still opt for the traditional AppleCare+ plan, which will also incorporate the new theft and loss coverage for iPad and Apple Watch.
