New leaks suggest Apple is set to make a significant design change to the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro, reportedly repositioning the iconic Apple logo on the device’s rear. This marks the first time in six years such a shift has occurred, driven by an anticipated overhaul of the top camera system.

According to prominent leakers ‘Majin Bu’ and ‘Sonny Dickson,’ the Apple logo will move noticeably lower, closer to the bottom-center of the iPhone 17 Pro’s back. This design alteration is said to be a direct consequence of a new, full-width camera bar expected to span the entire width of the device, relocating the flash and LiDAR scanner.

The repositioning has implications for MagSafe accessories, as the Apple logo has traditionally served as the alignment point for MagSafe since the iPhone 12. However, accessory manufacturers are already adapting, with reports indicating new case designs featuring a break in the circular MagSafe ring to expose the relocated logo. This suggests Apple may maintain the internal MagSafe magnet array’s current placement, with the logo simply shifting to align visually with the charging coil.
