Sony is expanding its hardware ecosystem with the introduction of Pulse Elevate wireless speakers, slated for release in 2026. These new speakers aim to deliver an immersive audio experience for PlayStation 5, PC, Mac, and PS Portal users.

According to Edwin Foo from the PS Blog, the Pulse Elevate speakers leverage advanced technologies such as planar magnetic drivers and PlayStation Link, building upon the audio innovations seen in Sony’s Pulse Elite headset and Pulse Explore earbuds. This integration promises “lifelike audio” and “positioning audio cues with incredible accuracy” when paired with the PS5’s Tempest 3D audio.

Designed for flexibility, the wireless Pulse Elevate speakers can be moved between various setups and and come with individual charging docks. This allows users to easily transition them from a desktop gaming station to other listening environments. The proprietary PlayStation Link technology ensures negligible latency, crucial for gaming.

While a specific release date is yet to be announced, Sony confirms the Pulse Elevate speakers will be available in both Midnight Black and standard White color options next year.
