In a significant development, the US Justice Department has released hundreds of pages of interview transcripts from Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted associate of Jeffrey Epstein. The documents, stemming from a July interview, reveal Maxwell’s emphatic denial of a much-speculated ‘client list’ of high-profile individuals linked to Epstein’s sex trafficking network.

Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence and petitioning the US Supreme Court to overturn her conviction, also used the interview to dismiss numerous allegations against powerful figures. She stated that she never witnessed any inappropriate conduct by former Presidents Donald Trump or Bill Clinton, despite their past associations with Epstein. Maxwell further vehemently denied introducing Prince Andrew to Epstein and labeled allegations of the Duke of York having sexual relations with an underage girl in her home as ‘mind-blowingly not conceivable,’ also claiming a widely circulated photo of Andrew with an accuser was fake.

The release comes as Maxwell seeks a presidential pardon, with her legal team openly welcoming such a move. Shortly after the interview, Maxwell was transferred to a low-security prison in Texas, the reasons for which remain unclear. The transcripts also touch on Maxwell’s disbelief regarding Epstein’s death by suicide in 2019, though she provided no evidence to support alternative theories.

This new information emerges months after Virginia Giuffre, a key accuser against Prince Andrew, tragically took her own life earlier this year. Giuffre’s family has strongly condemned the Justice Department’s decision to interview Maxwell, calling her a ‘monster’ whose testimony should not be trusted.
