Baltimore authorities are actively investigating a mass shooting that occurred Saturday night in the city’s northwest, resulting in one fatality and five wounded individuals, including a 5-year-old girl.

The incident unfolded shortly before 8:50 p.m. near the intersection of Spaulding and Queensberry Avenues, where residents had gathered for a crab feed. Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley confirmed that a 38-year-old man was critically injured and later pronounced dead early Sunday. The young girl sustained a hand injury, which police describe as non-life-threatening.

Other victims include a 23-year-old woman and three men aged 32, 33, and 52, all of whom are believed to have non-life-threatening injuries. As of Monday, police have not released any information regarding a suspect or a motive for the attack, stating that multiple rounds were fired into the crowd. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to contact them directly or through the Metro Crime Stoppers tip line.
