Pop superstar and talk show host Kelly Clarkson has announced the postponement of her August Studio Sessions residency dates in Las Vegas. The decision comes as Clarkson prioritizes her family, specifically her children, during her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock’s ongoing illness.

In a candid Instagram post, Clarkson explained her need to be fully present for her children, stating, “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.” She expressed sincere apologies to ticket holders, acknowledging their understanding and grace.

This is not the first time Clarkson has adjusted her Las Vegas schedule. Last month, she also postponed her July 4 and 5 dates, citing the strenuous preparation for the shows had taken a toll on her voice. Clarkson and Blackstock, who married in 2013 and share two children, finalized their divorce in 2022. Blackstock previously served as Clarkson’s manager, a relationship that has been the subject of legal disputes.
