Fatal Shooting at Nashua Country Club Wedding Leaves One Dead, Two Injured; Suspect Charged

A celebration at a New Hampshire country club turned deadly Saturday night when a gunman opened fire, killing one wedding guest and wounding two others. The incident occurred at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, where guests initially mistook gunshots for popping balloons.
New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella confirmed that 59-year-old Robert Steven DeCesare was fatally shot. Police swiftly arrested 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau, charging him with one count of second-degree murder. Authorities state there is currently no known connection between Nadeau and DeCesare. Two other adults sustained injuries in the attack, and additional charges against Nadeau are anticipated.
Nadeau is expected to be arraigned on Monday. Investigators, after reviewing security footage, have determined that a single adult male entered the club and fired multiple shots. Formella assured the public that there is no ongoing threat. Eyewitnesses described the chaos, with one guest reportedly striking the shooter with a chair, an act praised for potentially saving lives.
