Apple has initiated a lawsuit against prominent YouTuber Jon Prosser and Michael Ramacciotti, alleging the duo engaged in a “coordinated scheme” to leak sensitive trade secrets concerning the highly anticipated iOS 26 “Liquid Glass” software redesign.

The legal action comes months after Prosser, known for his Front Page Tech channel, posted videos in January and April previewing what he claimed was an early look at iOS 19, later confirmed to be iOS 26. These leaks included extensive details of the company-wide “Liquid Glass” redesign, which Apple officially unveiled at its Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

According to the complaint, filed recently and reported by MacRumors, Apple asserts that Ramacciotti, a friend of an Apple employee named Ethan Lipnik, gained unauthorized access to Lipnik’s company-owned iPhone running an in-development version of iOS. Allegedly at Prosser’s direction, Ramacciotti used FaceTime to show Prosser the unreleased software, which Prosser then disseminated for ad revenue.

While Apple leaks are common, the company states it is suing over this particular incident due to the alleged coordinated effort to unlawfully obtain and exploit proprietary information, emphasizing the severity of trade secret theft.
