Gaza Under Fresh Assault: Dozens Killed, Including Children, in Weekend Strikes

New Israeli air raids across the Gaza Strip over the weekend have resulted in the deaths of more than 90 Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Civil Defence. Among the casualties, at least 10 people, including six children, were killed near a vital water distribution point.
Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for the civil defence, reported multiple Israeli strikes on Gaza City overnight Sunday and into early Monday, leading to eight fatalities, including women and children, with numerous injuries. Separate incidents included an attack on a home near the Nuseirat refugee camp, claiming 10 lives, and a drone strike on a potable water distribution point in central Gaza, which killed eight Palestinians, six of whom were children.
Additionally, three displaced Palestinians died when Israeli jets hit a tent in the southern coastal area of al-Mawasi. These latest attacks follow a deadly Saturday where Israeli forces killed at least 110 Palestinians, including 34 civilians awaiting food aid at a distribution site in Rafah.
The ongoing conflict has now led to a cumulative total of at least 58,026 deaths and 138,520 injuries in Gaza, as reported by the Gaza Ministry of Health.
