Conjoined twin Carmen Andrade has recently confirmed her marriage to longtime boyfriend Daniel McCormack, revealing the private ceremony took place last October. The couple, who met on the dating app Hinge in 2020, exchanged vows in an intimate elopement on Lover’s Leap Bridge in New Milford, Connecticut.

The news, initially shared quietly in a YouTube video titled ‘Overdue Update!’, was recently elaborated on by Carmen during an interview with Today. The 25-year-old bride, who is conjoined with her sister Lupita, showcased her wedding ring and introduced her husband, Daniel, 28, who humorously declared himself ‘an upgrade.’

Daniel explained the wedding was a ‘small get-together’ limited to ‘local family,’ avoiding a larger guest list. Carmen opted for a sparkling emerald gown instead of traditional white, worn alongside her sister. She clarified that the marriage was between herself and Daniel, with Lupita, who identifies as asexual, not participating in the union.

The Mexico-born twins, attached from their chest to their pelvis, have adapted to life with one shared leg each, controlling one leg apiece. They are currently competing in the ‘America’s Favorite Couple’ contest, where they hold ninth place.
