Oppo Unveils Find X9 Pro’s Hasselblad Teleconverter, Key Camera Specs Confirmed

Oppo has officially showcased the much-anticipated Hasselblad telephoto lens for its upcoming Find X9 flagship camera generation. In a recent livestream, the company unboxed the Oppo Hasselblad Professional Teleconverter Kit, providing the first detailed look at the external lens designed to elevate the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro’s photographic capabilities.

The unboxing revealed the dark-hued lens and two adapters. While the magnetic case was not displayed, the lens itself boasts a significant 3.28x magnification factor. This impressive boost transforms the Find X9 Pro’s native 70mm telephoto lens into an optical 230mm equivalent, offering a substantial advantage over competitors like Vivo’s Zeiss teleconverter, which provides 2.35x magnification for its X300 series.

This move positions Oppo to intensely compete in the high-end smartphone photography market, following Vivo’s successful implementation of similar external camera kits. The full details surrounding the Dimensity 9500-equipped Find X9 series, including the optional camera kit with its handle/protective case, are expected to be fully revealed by the end of 2025.
