Manhunt Underway After ‘Act of Terror’ Targeting Pittsburgh FBI Office

The FBI has launched an urgent manhunt for Donald Henson, a Penn Hills resident, following what officials have described as a targeted ‘act of terror’ at its Pittsburgh field office earlier today. Henson is accused of ramming his vehicle into the office gate, throwing an American flag over the fence, and then fleeing the scene.
Assistant Special Agent in Charge Christopher Giordano confirmed in a Wednesday news conference that the bureau is actively seeking Henson and appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
Images from the scene, obtained by NBC affiliate WPXI, show a white Toyota Corolla, believed to be Henson’s, with visible damage to the metal fence. Investigators are examining a message reportedly written on the side of the car, with a bomb squad also assessing the vehicle. A black bag was also removed from the trunk.
While Henson is not believed to be armed, the FBI noted he may have a history of mental health problems. Authorities are urging any family members or individuals with information to come forward to assist in safely apprehending the suspect. The FBI Pittsburgh has reiterated on X that this was a ‘targeted attack’ on the agency.
