Patrick Gibson Revealed as James Bond in ‘007 First Light’ Video Game, Pre-Orders Now Live

Actor Patrick Gibson has officially been unveiled as the voice of James Bond in the highly anticipated video game, ‘007 First Light’. The reveal came during the September 2025 State of Play event, showcasing the ‘Dexter: Original Sin’ star as a young agent embarking on his MI6 journey.
‘007 First Light’, developed by IO Interactive and Amazon, delves into an origin story, following James Bond as a resourceful and sometimes reckless recruit in MI6’s training program. The game promises to explore the formative years of the world’s most famous spy.
Gibson is joined by a stellar voice cast, including Lennie James as Greenway, Priyanga Burford as M, Alastair Mackenzie as Q, Kiera Lester as Moneypenny, and Noémie Nakai as Ms. Roth.
The game is slated for release on March 27, 2026, across PC, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders for the standard edition, priced at $69.99, are available now, with early buyers receiving an automatic upgrade to the deluxe edition. A special collector’s edition, priced at $299.99, offers exclusive physical and in-game items including a Golden Gun Figurine and early access.
While the video game franchise solidifies its Bond, the live-action films continue their search. Esteemed filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, who expressed his profound excitement and sense of responsibility in June 2025, is confirmed to helm the next 007 film entry.
