Breaking: ICE Apprehends Notorious MS-13 Gang Member, Human Trafficker Kilmar Abrego Garcia

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a known MS-13 gang member, human trafficker, and alleged serial abuser, in Maryland. The arrest, which occurred on August 25, was announced today by U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem.
Garcia, identified as a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, is currently being processed for removal to Uganda. Secretary Noem emphasized the administration’s commitment to public safety, stating, “Today, ICE law enforcement arrested Kilmar Abrego Garcia and are processing him for deportation. President Trump is not going to allow this illegal alien, who is an MS-13 gang member, human trafficker, serial domestic abuser, and child predator, to terrorize American citizens any longer.”
Authorities confirmed Garcia’s long history of alleged criminal activity. In 2019, the Prince Georges County Police Gang Unit validated his membership in MS-13. At the time of his recent arrest, he was found with large sums of cash and drugs, accompanied by two other MS-13 members.
Further details reveal past suspicions of human trafficking. In December 2022, Garcia was stopped by the Tennessee Highway Patrol for speeding, with eight other individuals in his vehicle and no luggage, leading officers to suspect a trafficking incident. All passengers provided the same home address as Garcia.
Garcia also faces allegations of domestic violence, with his wife, Jennifer Vasquez, petitioning for an order of protection against him, citing physical abuse. Additionally, court filings indicate Kilmar Abrego Garcia solicited nude photographs from a minor.
