A massive Powerball jackpot of an estimated $605 million is on the line tonight, with a cash option valued at $273.4 million. This prize marks the largest potential win of 2025 so far and could be the fifth jackpot claimed this year, according to the official Powerball website.

Tonight’s drawing is the 34th since the last jackpot winner on May 31, when a California player secured $204.5 million. This current jackpot is the largest offered since April 2024, when an Oregon resident won $1.3 billion.

Tickets, priced at $2, are available in 45 states, Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Despite the allure, the odds of winning the top prize remain steep at 1 in 292.2 million. Players select five white ball numbers from 1-69 and one red Powerball number from 1-26. Overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9.

Additional prize tiers range from $4 to $1 million, and players can opt for the ‘Powerplay’ feature for an extra dollar to multiply non-jackpot winnings. Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET, with live streams available on Powerball.com.
