A deadly shooting erupted early Sunday morning at the Taste of the City lounge in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to eight others. The incident, which occurred just before 3:30 a.m. at 903 Franklin Avenue, saw police responding swiftly to discover numerous gunshot victims.

According to NYC Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, three male victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining eight victims, a mix of men and women aged 27 to 61, are currently being treated at local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators report that a dispute within the crowded club escalated into gunfire, involving multiple shooters. Authorities have recovered at least 36 shell casings from the scene. While a firearm was found in the vicinity of Bedford Avenue and Eastern Parkway, its direct link to the shooting is still under investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, and detectives are actively canvassing CCTV footage. This tragic event follows a previous non-fatal shooting at the same lounge in November 2024.
