Zelenskyy underscored the importance of all points mentioned in their declaration for achieving a truly sustainable and reliable peace.

The joint statement, issued by leaders from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, unequivocally stated that “experience has shown that Putin cannot be trusted” and emphasized Russia’s responsibility to cease its flagrant violations of international law.

Zelenskyy reiterated that Russia continues to reject multiple calls for a ceasefire and has yet to indicate when it will halt the ongoing conflict, stressing that stopping the killing is paramount to ending the war.
