Masked thieves recently made off with approximately $7,000 worth of highly sought-after Labubu dolls from a Los Angeles-area store, authorities confirmed. The incident, which saw the popular collectibles vanish from a La Puente shop, is currently under investigation by the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

The brazen theft occurred early Wednesday morning at a store located about 18 miles east of Los Angeles. According to the Sheriff’s Department, the suspects utilized a stolen Toyota Tacoma during the incident, which was later recovered. Details surrounding the ongoing investigation remain limited.

One Stop Shop, the toy vendor targeted in the heist, shared surveillance footage on Instagram depicting individuals in hoodies and face coverings breaking into the establishment. The store reported that the thieves cleared out their entire inventory of the popular Labubu dolls, created by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung, and trashed the premises. In a post expressing their shock, the store urged the public to assist in identifying the culprits.
