A 17-year-old suspect has been taken into custody following an early Saturday morning shooting in New York City’s iconic Times Square that left three people injured. The incident occurred around 1:20 AM EDT at West 44th Street and Seventh Avenue, a bustling tourist hub.

Authorities have not yet released the suspect’s name, and charges related to the gunfire are currently pending. The victims, identified as a 19-year-old man, a 65-year-old man, and an 18-year-old woman, were all transported to a local hospital. Police reported that the 19-year-old sustained a foot injury, the 65-year-old was hit in the left leg, and the 18-year-old was grazed in the neck. All three are reported to be in stable condition.
