A large-scale manhunt is intensifying across Tennessee as authorities continue their urgent search for Austin Drummond, 28, the primary suspect in a horrific quadruple homicide that left four family members dead in rural Lake County last week.
The grim discovery followed reports of a seven-month-old baby girl abandoned in a stranger’s yard in neighboring Dyer County. The subsequent search for the infant’s guardians led law enforcement to a wooded area nearly 40 miles away in Tiptonville, where they found the bodies of the child’s parents, James Matthew Wilson, 21, and Adrianna Williams, 20, along with her maternal grandmother, Cortney Rose, 38, and maternal uncle, Braydon Williams, 15.
Drummond is currently at large and is wanted for first-degree murder, kidnapping, and unlawful firearm possession in connection with the killings. He is considered armed and dangerous, with a combined reward of $32,500 offered by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the U.S. Marshals Service for information leading to his capture.
In connection with the case, three individuals identified as Drummond’s associates have been charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder: Tanaka Brown, 29, Giovonte Thomas, 29, and Dearrah Sanders. All three are being held in Lake County Jail.
Investigators have revealed Drummond’s extensive criminal history, including a prior conviction for aggravated robbery and charges for attempted murder and drug-related offenses while incarcerated. Officials describe him as a confirmed member of a violent street gang.
