Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2600 chipset, expected to power the highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series, is demonstrating impressive graphics capabilities, according to recently leaked benchmark results. New data suggests its Xclipse 960 GPU could significantly outperform Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite’s Adreno 830 GPU.

Latest benchmarks from 3DMark Steel Nomad Light show the Exynos 2600 scoring 3,135 points with an average frame rate of 23.23 FPS. In direct comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Elite achieved 2,681 points and 19.87 FPS, indicating the Exynos 2600’s GPU is approximately 15% more powerful in these tests.

However, it’s important to note that these preliminary scores were obtained from a test board, not a final smartphone device. Test boards typically offer superior thermal management, which could inflate performance figures. Real-world performance within a smartphone might vary, potentially bringing the Exynos 2600’s performance closer to or even below that of the Snapdragon 8 Elite due to thermal constraints.
