The recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, featuring the new Exynos 2500 chipset, is already drawing scrutiny as initial hands-on CPU benchmarks indicate underwhelming performance. Despite its debut just days ago alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 FE, the Exynos 2500 appears to struggle, performing only on par with last-generation chipsets such as MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

As shared by Fenibook on X, the Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy Z Flip7 achieved a single-core score of 2,093 and a multi-core score of 7,498 on Geekbench 6. These figures are consistent with pre-launch leaks and highlight a notable performance gap compared to current-generation flagship processors. For comparison, the Dimensity 9300 in the Vivo X100 Pro scored 2,207 (single-core) and 7,408 (multi-core), while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro recorded 2,318 (single-core) and 7,357 (multi-core). This suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip7’s performance may fall short of expectations for a newly released premium smartphone.
