Apple has just released the third developer betas for its highly anticipated iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 operating systems. This latest update, arriving two weeks after the second beta, allows registered developers to further test the upcoming features and design changes. Developers can access the new beta software directly through the Software Update section within the Settings app on their devices.

A major highlight of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 is Apple’s innovative ‘Liquid Glass’ design aesthetic. This new visual language emphasizes translucency and glass-like interface elements, transforming the look of the Lock Screen, Home Screen, Control Center, and various in-app menus and buttons. Beyond the design, the updates bring significant enhancements to core Apple apps such as Messages, Phone, Shortcuts, and Apple Music. Crucially, new Apple Intelligence features are integrated, alongside a revamped CarPlay experience. iPadOS 26 specifically introduces a groundbreaking multitasking system, enabling multiple app windows for a more robust, Mac-like user experience on tablets.

While currently exclusive to developers, Apple is expected to release a public beta version soon, with the full official launch of iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 anticipated in the fall.
