Meta’s Next-Gen Smart Glasses Leaked: Ray-Ban Display and Oakley Camera Revealed Ahead of Connect

Just one day before Meta’s highly anticipated Connect event, a promotional video detailing its upcoming ‘Meta Ray-Ban Display’ smart glasses and new Oakley camera sunglasses has surfaced online. The leak offers an early glimpse into Meta’s ambitious push into augmented reality wearables, confirming many long-rumored features.

The leaked footage, reportedly appearing briefly on Meta’s official YouTube channel before removal, showcases the new “Meta Ray-Ban Display” frames. These black Wayfarer-style glasses feature clear lenses and a subtle heads-up display capable of showing map previews, friend chats, and contextual information. A dedicated wristband for interaction and a gesture-based typing mechanism were also briefly visible, suggesting intuitive control over the device.

Alongside the Ray-Ban model, the video also revealed a new pair of Oakley frames, based on the Sphaera design, equipped with a centrally placed camera directly above the nosepiece.
