According to a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security, ICE agents were attempting to apprehend Silverio Villegas-Gonzales when he allegedly resisted and drove his car towards the officers. An agent was reportedly dragged by the vehicle, prompting the agent, who feared for his life, to discharge his firearm.
