A U.S. Secret Service agent has been placed on administrative leave and had his security clearance revoked following a controversial social media post concerning “slain conservative influencer Charlie Kirk.” The agency has launched an immediate investigation into the matter.

Anthony Pough, the agent in question, reportedly wrote on Facebook earlier this week that Kirk “spewed hate and racism on his show,” adding, “at the end of the day, you answer to GOD, and speak things into existence. You can only circumvent karma, she doesnt leave.”

In response to the incident, Secret Service Director Sean Curran issued a memo to staff, emphasizing the rising tide of politically motivated attacks in the U.S. and urging personnel to “be the solution, not adding to the problem.” Curran reiterated the agency’s commitment to operating without political bias and upholding the highest standards of conduct.

A spokesperson for the Secret Service confirmed that “The U.S. Secret Service will not tolerate behavior that violates our code of conduct. This employee was immediately put on administrative leave, and an investigation has begun.”
