Apple has just announced a significant leap in mobile security with the introduction of Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE) in its newly launched iPhone 17 and iPhone Air models. Revealed on Tuesday, this cutting-edge feature is deeply integrated into the next-generation A19 and A19 Pro chips, offering robust, always-on protection against sophisticated cyber threats.

MIE is designed to provide comprehensive memory safety across critical system components, including the kernel and over 70 userland processes, all without compromising device performance.
