Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is currently investigating the discovery of a decomposed body found inside a Tesla registered to popular rapper David Anthony Burke, known as D4vd. The shocking find occurred on Monday, September 8, after the vehicle, abandoned for several days, was towed to a Hollywood Hills impound lot.

Workers at the impound lot reported a foul odor emanating from the 2023 Tesla, which bore Texas license plates. LAPD officers arrived at approximately 12:30 p.m. and located human remains inside a bag in the car’s front trunk. The impound lot was immediately sealed off as investigators began processing the scene, placing a canopy over the vehicle.

Authorities have yet to confirm the identity of the deceased person, and the investigation remains open. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding how the remains were placed in the vehicle and the events leading up to the discovery.

Despite the ongoing high-profile investigation, D4vd, known for hits like “Here with Me” and “Romantic Homicide,” has not canceled any dates on his Withered World Tour. The 20-year-old artist’s tour, which began last month, is proceeding as scheduled, with his next performance slated for Minneapolis, followed by a Los Angeles show on September 20. D4vd continues to post updates on his social media channels amidst the widespread public and fan reaction to the case.
