The Missouri Lottery has officially announced that one of two winning Powerball tickets, claiming half of a staggering $1.787 billion jackpot, was purchased at a QuikTrip in St. Louis. The announcement came on Monday, September 8, identifying the winning location as the QuikTrip at 12110 Lusher Road.

The winning ticket for the record-setting September 6, 2025, drawing secured an $893.5 million prize, marking the largest jackpot ever won in Missouri. “It was a record-setting night for the Missouri Lottery, with the $893.5 million prize ranking as the highest jackpot prize won in Missouri to date,” stated Executive Director Lester Elder in a press release. This colossal win surpasses the previous state record of $293.7 million from a Powerball drawing in November 2012.

The other winning ticket for the massive jackpot was sold in Fredericksburg, Texas. The fortunate Missouri winner now has until March 5, 2026, to claim their historic prize.
