The official autopsy report for ‘Lilo & Stitch’ actor David Hekili Kenui Bell has been released, shedding light on the tragic circumstances surrounding his sudden death at 46 years old. The report, obtained by PEOPLE and issued by the Hawaii Police Department, comes more than two months after his passing on June 12 on Hawaii’s Big Island.

The primary diagnoses listed in the report point to acute respiratory failure, sepsis, hypertensive/atherosclerotic heart disease, and morbid obesity as the major contributing factors. Atherosclerosis, characterized by fatty deposits clogging artery walls and restricting blood flow, was highlighted as a significant condition.

The report also detailed the extensive efforts made by emergency crews to save Bell, including the application of defibrillator pads, an airway, IV access, and an intraosseous needle. Additional findings from the autopsy included stasis dermatitis, a skin condition linked to poor circulation, and edema, indicating fluid buildup in the lower limbs. Toxicology tests confirmed that there were no drugs or alcohol in his system.
