NYC Officials Arrested Protesting ICE Conditions in Manhattan Over a dozen New York City and state elected officials, including City Comptroller Brad Lander and Public Advocate Jumaane Williams, were arrested Thursday afternoon in Lower Manhattan while protesting conditions at federal immigration courts.
