Pixel Watch 4 Specs Leaked Ahead of Confirmed August 20 Google Hardware Event

Google has officially announced its hardware event for August 20, where it’s expected to unveil new Pixel phones, earbuds, and the highly anticipated Pixel Watch 4. Coinciding with this confirmation, a significant leak has emerged, detailing a host of hardware upgrades for both the 41mm and 45mm models of the upcoming smartwatch.
Key among the revelations is that the Pixel Watch 4 will feature the Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 processor, coupled with a groundbreaking new M55 co-processor. This M55 chip is touted to handle five times the AI workload at a fraction of the power, promising enhanced efficiency and smart capabilities. Another notable innovation is the introduction of side charging, a first for the Pixel Watch line, allowing users to power up their device while it rests on its side.
Both Pixel Watch 4 models are expected to sport brighter AMOLED LTPO displays with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Battery life sees a substantial boost, with the 41mm model offering up to 30 hours with always-on display (48 hours in battery saver mode) and the 45mm model providing 40 hours with always-on display (72 hours in battery saver mode). Other specifications include 2GB SDRAM, 32GB eMMC flash storage, and Wear OS 6.
The smartwatch will also come equipped with a comprehensive suite of sensors, including SpO2 monitoring, ECG compatibility, a multi-path optical heart rate sensor, and ultrawideband technology. The Pixel Watch 4 is anticipated to launch in five distinct colors: Black/Obsidian, Gold/Lemon, Moonstone, Silver/Iris, and Silver/Porcelain.
