Kyiv Endures Record Russian Air Assault Amid Stalled Peace Efforts, Casualties Reported

Kyiv experienced the largest air attack of the war on July 4, 2025, as Russia launched an unprecedented barrage of drones and missiles at the Ukrainian capital. This move has raised alarms in Kyiv and among international allies, fueling concerns about a potential reduction in U.S. support for Ukraine. President Trump expressed disappointment with Putin’s unwillingness to end the war, despite previous threats of tougher sanctions.
