Nothing Headphones (1) Full Specs Leak Ahead of July 1 Launch

Just days before their anticipated official unveiling, the complete specifications for Nothing’s highly awaited over-ear headphones, the Nothing Headphones (1), have reportedly leaked. This follows yesterday’s release of official renders for the Nothing Phone (3), with both devices expected to launch simultaneously on July 1.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Nothing Headphones (1) will weigh in at 329g, positioning them as heavier than Sony’s WH-1000XM6 (252g) but lighter than Apple’s AirPods Max (384g). Nothing has previously hinted at superior performance compared to the AirPods Max.
For audio quality, the headphones will feature 40mm drivers and a significant partnership with British high-end audio company KEF. This collaboration aims to deliver premium sound, leveraging KEF’s renowned expertise in audio equipment, similar to Samsung’s integration of Harman Kardon and AKG.
Battery life claims are impressive, with up to 80 hours of playback when Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is off (AAC codec). With ANC engaged, battery life is stated to be 35 hours (AAC) or 30 hours (LDAC). When using the LDAC codec, ANC-off playback extends to 54 hours.
Connectivity and smart features are also robust, including Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, Dual Connection, on-head detection, LED charging status, a low-lag mode, personal sound profiles, and Find My Device support. These comprehensive features suggest Nothing has packed a lot into its first over-ear headphone offering.
