Metroid fans can finally secure their copy of the highly anticipated fourth entry in the series, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which was officially announced during September’s Nintendo Direct event. The game is set to launch on December 4 for both Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2, with preorders now open at major retailers.

Alongside the game, collectors can also preorder three new Amiibo figures. A new Samus Amiibo and a Samus on her Vi-O-La motorcycle figure will arrive on November 6, followed by a Sylux Amiibo releasing concurrently with the game on December 4.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond continues Samus Aran’s saga after Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, sending her to the uncharted planet Viewros. Here, she will encounter a new musical alien race who imbue her with psychic powers to combat an unknown threat and explore ancient ruins. Samus’ enigmatic rival, Sylux, is also confirmed to play a pivotal role in the storyline.

For those looking to dive deeper into the series’ lore, the official Metroid Prime 1-3: A Visual Retrospective hardcover book is available for preorder and slated for an October 28 release. This 208-page collector’s item features concept art, developer commentary, and behind-the-scenes materials, covering the original trilogy and Metroid Prime Remastered.
